I've come back to this post 2 years running to do my son's birthday cake. The 3/4 pt water to 1 egg is genius & works a treat

Thanks for post #11 with the instructions for scaling up. I am trying to make a large rectangular cake to cut to shape as I am baking a Corona cake for my son's 18th birthday (have done all the fairy castles, trains etc. for son and daughter many years ago)
The tin I am using takes 5 of the water measures ... that's 10 eggs!!
Does anyone know if a cake this size will bake evenly?0
