CD Wow Discount 50p off every CD and 1 pound off all DVDS

If you go to http://www13.cd-wow.com/?affid=16523 this will give you 50p off every CD and a pound off every DVD until the 30th June 2007. I recently opened a mkone card ( just for the 10% off, never using again) and got sent this in a booklet. I used my normal maestro card instead and it went through fine.

    It didn't discount in the front page, does it reduce the price at the checkout ?

    It should have discounted all the items automatically and goes through as that price. I just checked the MKone link and compared the normal CD WOW address and the MKone link is discounted.

    They have apparently been fined £41 Million.
    I don't see how they can not go bankrupt, so I would be wary of ordering from them for a little while, as they may go into receivership with no warning.
    Although if I remember correctly, this is one of the things that paying by credit card is supposed to cover one against.

    I was going to advise to steer well clear of CD Wow too, it is true that they have had all their accounts and assets frozen and been ordered to pay £41 million damages to record companies for importing CD's from Hong Kong so cheaply.

    Times said that they had found about 40 CDs illegally imported out of about 30 million. Totally disproportionate fine

    Ordered two dvds - one has just been delivered and the other one doesn't seem to be doing very much. Any joy with yours?!!?
