    Evening all.

I've spent the entire afternoon doing paid stuff. I still have loads to go, but I am now getting things set up the way I planned from the beginning but haven't managed yet. :D Only into the third year of business :rotfl::rotfl:

Off to do the washing up and then I'm going to crush some candy until DD goes to bed. ;)

I'm excited, not only am I getting my refund, but my broccoli's are growing! I thought they were just going to be triffids and not flower, but they each have a small but perfectly formed head! :T

Also have a plant in the veg garden I can't identify. I labelled them all but this has sprouted from nowhere!

Bossy post a picture, love trying to identify a plant

    Mama7
    welcome

I've ordered toothbrushes, ordered a sofa, got a tesco CC deal to get DS2 a 16-25 railcard, tried to get DS3's bus pass ordered but photo DH took makes him look like he has a glass eye!

Black wash in the machine as both pairs of DS3's troussers are dirty and it's only Tuesday so I need to wait for that to finish before bed.

DH dispatched to collect DS2 from work.

Going to plan my journey to Bath uni with DS2 on Thursday next.

  • Welcome thriftyglam & mama7 :)

LOTS of paperwork sorted. There is a bit more to do, then some sums, then the phonecall to Tax Credits...

Another 'off list' day - DW x 2 and filter cleaned, WM x 1, TD x 1. Towels folded. Tidied in the LR & hall. I will set the WM to hottest wash to clean itself overnight.

Tomorrow's tasks include taking the glass recycling to the bottle bank & starting to pull up the manky carpet in the hall. Such fun!!

    Night all xx

It bl00dy is, isn't it? There must have been a sneaky spud in my (ahem) reused compost from last year.

    Oops.

Definitely a potato :) I think they can grow from peelings in the compost. We had tomato plants cropping up where they weren't planted last year! These are the sort of 'weeds' I don't mind.
It is best to check what they are though. I discovered my mum had a 'suspicious' plant a few years ago  Probably seeded by birds I guess. I told her to dig it up before she got arrested & not to burn it :rotfl:
