Woolwich Lifetime Tracker - application experience?

Hi,
I posted recently asking if there was such a thing as a mortgage with no tie ins and no up front fees. I got lots of useful replies, and as a result I have narrowed it down and now need to choose between 2 products.
ING Direct - this is variable rate, currently 5.64%
Woolwich Lifetime Tracker - this is a tracker, currently 5.68%
Only real difference is that with the Woolwich one I am guaranteed that it will stay in line with the base rate, unlike the ING Direct one. For this reason, we would prefer the Woolwich product.
However, there is loads of feedback on here about ING Direct application process, mainly positive. But I have not found any feedback about the applicaiton process for a Woolwich Lifetime Tracker, can anyone advise? We need it to be fairly quick as our SVR kicks in soon.
Thanks.

i have just changed to the woolwich (last week )
I arranged it via london & country .
I had to send proof off ID and bank details
utility bill (for proof off address )
payslip .
It was process really quickly .I was sent paperwork to sign and return to a solicitor acting for the woolwich .I didnt sign it straight away and they sent me a two reminder letters .
When I did sign all the paperwork ,I was given a completion date within a week ,and I completed a week later .I have remortaged several times over the years and never had it done so quickly . The downside with the woolwich is you have an exit fee ,with Ing you dont .0 -
Thanks ginger_nuts, that's really useful. Hadn't really picked up on the exit fee aspect either, so thanks for pointing that out.0
