I am in shock...I've had an email to say I won with the Times, the bike! :j :eek: I only entered twice with everything happening at home so haven't been comping so never expected to win! I have pm'd SueMaggie to say thanks too, I hope we have some more winners here

Things are still pretty hectic here. Don't want to go into detail on here much but will pop in occasionally when I can

Well ...... window cleaner has been, lovely guy but puddy stalks him room by room!!!! :eek: For some reason she dislikes him big time ..... but then she loses her nerve and hides behind sofa!!!! :rotfl:

Meow had a night on the tiles! Something about cats n me! They like to play catch me if you can :eek: (unless raining, chilly or been out all night)

Oh yes, me puddy n me!!! She is not an outside cat - v occasionally she will follow me out to the garden, sticks to me like glue and scuttles back in!!!!

Last night, actually approx 3am (I leave me bedroom curtains and top window open) - could hear her doing them strange noises - clicking, meowing and ending up with swearing!!! :eek:

There she was looking out ....... had to get up and see what was occurring - foxes - two or three ....... hey ho !!! However, they disappeared eventually and brave heart came back to continue sending up the zzzzzzz's!!!! :D :rotfl:

Just shared a chicken,bacon and leek pie from Higginsons, Grange over Sands - it was so nice.
Was watching Andy Murray which was really nerve wracking but at least he is through to the last 8.
Great to see you win the bike Wingo. Think my prize must have been redrawn which could explain the mistakes with the name. Nice they redrew the prize rather than not allocating it although I always feel sorry for the original winner.
Lovely and sunny here just now, saving the rain for tomorrow I think.

Good evening everyone, so sorry not been around today as have been really busy. Had to check a big word document my dd2 sent me for spelling etc as had to get it submitted for the private work she does. Then we went to do shopping and before we knew it it was time to pick GS up from school. We took him to the park for an hour with the dogs and now he is watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

DD1 has passed all her exams for her first year at Uni so that was good news as she doesn't have any re-sits.

Don't know why peeps have animals if they are going to be cruel to them. While we were at the park there was a lass probably about 30 with her Mother and son + a lovely little terrier. Every time the dog pulled on the lead so got the end of lead and gave him a good old whack on his back. After she passed me later doing it again I asked her if she would like it if someone did it to her (mouth engaged before brain as usual). The Mother was furious and started shouting at me that it was none of my business, what a nasty person she was.

Sheils - well done on your win, what a lovely start to the month.

Wingo - Fred and I are so pleased for you on your win. You mentioned before that you wanted a bike. Well done. Big hugs to you and your family we are still thinking of you.

Haven't started my comps yet so must get a shifty on.
