Well done on the Alfie and good luck with the next one. Lottie isn't keen on the silver dog bowl either but then she is fussy anyway. sukie would eat and drink out of anything. Last time we went to DD's it was really hot in the car so when we stopped for a break we put water down for her and she wouldn't touch it so poured some in the little plastic top of the water bottle and held it for her and she drank it. How daft is that.
Glad you have had a bit of a relaxing day firefly you are always so busy.
Hope you have finished the ironing now Sheils, mine is still waiting.

Normally sell out every few years - but had to bring up to half unsold back. People are more fussy today.
Trouble is that I had temporarily shifted stuff around in the place of the gear ready to cart off!
Meow had fun jumping and paying with drifting stuff!
AB: you get good value from your £3- a takeaway, Euromillions, bottle of wine?0 -
We had a Salmon Wellington from Aldi for dinner and it was lovely. Even DS ate it without moaning. Think it was £4 and did 3 of us fine (think it is supposed to do 4) It didn't create much washing up either as just had it with carrots and new potatoes.
Ironing not finished but it can wait until tomorrow. The washing that was still out got a heavy shower on it which is annoying but hopefully will be dry tomorrow.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

LOL ILC - well 2 quid for the euro, paid for sunday paper and ordered take away
Sums don't quite add up but me glass is always half full!
Always like to stay positive:D :rotfl::rotfl:
Sylv - my cat is so fussy !!!! She has james wellbeloved dried food - which i am quite thankful for because she is a grazer, likes to come and go and help herself when she is peckish.
However, she won't eat it out of her bowl, I have to tip it out onto the cat mats i have, upstairs and down!!!! Thankfully, she will take plenty of water from her bowls, as long as they are topped right up!!!!! And my old mum thought I was a fussy eater!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

ILC: the kids n me used to do car boot sales years ago - £3 for a space.
Initially, it was fun, we managed to sell loads of bits n pieces and the money received was very welcome in them days!!
However, as time went on, and we returned, we found hardened hagglers crowding round the car before we had even unloaded - some not so nice
Also discovered another peep was buying our stuff and then hey ho selling it for double on her stall!!!
Oh well, it was fun to start with, another life experience!!!xxx :rotfl::rotfl:

One of my previous cats would dip their paw in the water and lick it. Wet paws around!
Current cat is generally good. Sometimes I put two bowls of food down and meow eats the first one more or both! (And sometimes all the biscuits instead/as well)
Sheils: doesn't your boy tell you off if you buy ready prepared? It must grate on a chef to not see freshly prepared.
Though somebody on radio four said more and more restaurants (especially with a big menu) buy in ready prepared and heat up.0 -

Yes he does moan ILC but he is not usually here at meal times anyway. I make an effort but am lazy sometimes. The hotels where both boys work use mainly fresh but a few years ago everything was freshly made. I looked up the hotel where DS2 is head chef and it was lovely to see the reviews and comments on him. His desserts especially are to die for.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
