    hi & welcome
there's quite a few competition sites about nowdays
& most find which one suits them best :)
I mostly use MSE Comps board for comps &
we've a great comping guide on here MSE
(if you've not seen it yet, apologies if you have)

    here..

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1014121

that explains lots of things we all needed to know when first started out & hope it's of use to you, it was invaluable to me & still is :)
there's also in the guide a list of sites we tend to avoid as they can create a lot of spam :(
myoffers & offerX being on it unfortunately x

    here..

11 Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam?
There are a few which have come to our collective attention as sites that, when used for comps, seem to generate lots of unwanted postal, email & phone call attention. These are listed below for your information, however, please do remember that this is only the collective opinion of other MSE Compers & does not necessarily reflect upon the sites themselves.

Hi Courtsarlett and welcome to mse  I agree with fire**fly, I only use mse for comping and occasionally FB & twitter. I think you'll find most (if not all) of the comps are here anyway :) Hope you have a good win!

No wins in the post for me ILC, just DD's hospital app. At least the Pepsi bottle gets delivered anyway, I don't have a printer just yet so couldn't print off a coupon!

Hope you got caught up with your comps/EF's fire**fly :)

We've just been to order some glass for French doors an then went to get DD's bday present before it sold out. We've given in and bought her a hamster starter cage which was only £8.99, it's cute with a little wheel etc, hay and food only a £1 each too but were gonna put a toy hamster in for now and let her think she's only having that one! :D Her bdays not till sept 8th anyway but there was only 3 left in shop!
I put the kids laptop in too to see if they can get it working, I'm sick of comping on an iPad! :o
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Not hot BUT very humid last night and today
    .

Had a go on the Pepsi Dynamo @ 3.30am, when nipped to the loo, thought it might of been a sign but alas NO! :(

    Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a nice day. DD and her friend went off and got everything they needed I think. DD ran out of money though so had to appear with an extra £10! Going to make her do some Housework to pay it off. (I know I'm a mean mother)
Thanks for your advice ILC but didn't go to Poundland. Maybe I should have and kept DH on his toes. :D There are plenty of department stores etc in Ayr.

Loved DDs hamster when she had him wingo but it was dreadful when he got old and smelly and his death was upsetting.

    Any wins anyone?

The Mag dailies are missing me, email from W/O amongst others, saying We haven't seen you in a while!

34 emails since been out, but not even a sniff of a win!

Bought a £1 SC, it had £2 on it, so now have a £60m Euromillions tix for tmw.

Glad you had a nice time in Ayr Sheils and your DD is set up for next week.

    Hi everyone :hello:

Glad to say it stayed dry while we got the shopping done. :j
It's just started spitting with rain now so that's not too bad.

Welcome to MSE Courtscarlett :hello: I agree with fire**fly and wingo, this is the only site I use for competitions :)

wingo - got some half price turkey fillets in the Co-Op :j
I'm quite envious that you can lie in till 11 :D I used to be able to but I just can't now and some mornings I really try but 8 o'clock is a long lie in for me now. :(
I love hamsters, I think they're really sweet. Sadly they tend to have a short life span

No postie here at all today. Quite pleased really because I thought the new vacuum head might have come today and then I'd have felt duty bound to hoover. :rotfl:

Sounds like a successful shopping trip sheils :j If you get help with the housework, even better :D

Well done on SC win ILC :j

Hope you all have a good evening :)

I wouldn't normally lie in till 11 walwin but the kids were still in bed so I must have been tired! Hope you get the Hoover head tomorrow! (Not! :p)

Glad you had a good shopping day out Sheils :) I always make my kids work for extra money too, it's the only way to learn them as part of growing up :)

I had to laugh at an ad in the paper...'for sale, dog kennel. Would suit large dog or disruptive teenager!' :rotfl: I wonder what they used it for? :D
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!
