    .

Good morning all. firefly - we have your rain now but mustn't grumble. Glad you got some sunshine today.

Sheils - You have done well on the Stella wins this time. I got a lip gloss yesterday which I am pleased with. Hope you have a nice time in York. I met Fred on a blind date on York Station. My DD ad her friend were hid behind newspapers making sure he looked OK. Been married to him 22 years tomorrow and couldn't be happier.

iluvcats - well done on the apron win.

Have a good day everyone and hope its a lucky one for you all.

    Morning all

Had a great day with DD it was nice to see her & not keep getting interrupted by the children. We had a very good look at wedding dresses - although she was miffed at having to try on size 12s when she's been a 6 or 8 for years - it was her boobs that were the problem waist & hips were OK in a 10 but couldn't get it done up any higher .

I spent some of my House of Fraser vouchers on a pair of bright pink strappy wedges & bought DD a dress - a green grecian sort of number - a lot nicer on her than on the hanger .

Also picked up walking sandals in TK Maxx - just under half normal price , all I need for Prague now is a denim shirt & I'm done.

Had confirmation of holiday from Ryan Air - half looking forward to it - half dreading it , although they were Ok when we went to Dublin a few years ago, taxi to the airport cost more than the flights and we're under the flight path.

also came home to a Moxie - tasted weird !! and I had a large A4 envelope which contained an EMP catalogue - right up son-in-law to be's street , I expect they'll get a sale from as he's birthday is next month.

Nothing planned for today except to rest my aching legs

    Hi firefly - thats fine.

Wingo - noticed on fb you DS is suffering from hayfever and hope he feels better today.

Sheils - time passes so quickly doesn't it. Well done on your 22 yrs coming up. Its always hard when you bring two sets of kids together but we managed OK and they are off off and away now. Its just the two of us and we love our time together.

I checked with the local paper and he came down of his own accord. He must have been in a pretty bad place to want to do that. The road was closed off for a good while.
It's cooled down here a bit but pollen must have been really high. Son is suffering badly with his hayfever, he couldn't open his eyes earlier even with eye drops in. All he is worried about is missing school footie tomorrow! :o

Hope it's better for him with the weather change.

I liked to listen to Michael Van Straten on the radio. He talked about hayfever and other subjects. (Nasaleze is recommended by him)
