Hope everyone is well today and ready for all this months comps!
Good Luck to everyone.
Bucketing down here so think we will go and see the art exhibition that is on in town. We live in Scotlands Artist town so big exhibition on every summer as well as others.
Didn't sleep very well due to DS3 being noisey when he came in so there could be a lot of noise from me later on. Feeling a bit grumpy. Hate teenagers at the moment.
Anyway lets see who can win the first prize this month!

Morning all, no work today so I'm getting my hair cut later. Yay!
Just got son off to summer school and he is going to Redcar & Saltburn seasides today, Beamish tomorrow.
Maybe the sun will make an appearance later for you walwin Sunny here now after a wet night last night.

morning peeps have slept and slept and slept first night for about a month

Morning and happy 1st of August to all!

No clouds here, blue sky, sun has got his scorcher hat on!! Phew - sweltering indoors, got windows open, fans on etc after I came back from doing wee shop.

Apparently later on it is going to be hotter than yon last hottest day :eek:

Puddy is by open outside doors catching ants - easily pleased! When do the flying ants start? Afraid I am not keen on them when they take off but feel kinda sorry cos most seem to fail to get far and then birds pick off the ones that gain any height!!

Went to nice shop this morning, took jalopy down - lovely polite staff, nothing to much trouble - got some strawberries, prawns for salad later (will be to hot to cook) and few other bits n pieces

Had to water this morning ff - did veggies, pots etc - but that will be me lot out there today until evening.

Well done on any wins and well done ILC on your TB fiver! You got more than me

Do you think using a cage for teenagers is legal ILC?

Are you getting your hair cut short wingo? Seem to remember you were thinking about it.

Glad you had a good sleep Rose. I'm still grumpy as I didn't.

Still wet here Alfie and set to remain that way until at least 4pm. Wish you could send your sun up here and I could give you some rain to save you watering your plants!

It is nice for you to have the day off Wingo and to get your hair done as well. It must be very rewarding the work you do. We find it challenging enough when we have the GS never mind more than one at a time. Hope you enjoy your picnic and that your Mom is well enough to go with you, it will do her good.
