Ooh I didnt know we were back! I thought it would be Monday. Grest to be back! :j I've been trying to get busy all day sorting a room out again trying to whittle down on stuff then popped to see mum as she is back in hospital. She is going through the denial stage and said she was going to sign herself out of hospital etc I think we talked her round by the time we left.
Got an email from lottery this morning saying ...exciting news about my ticket....I couldn't log on quick enough!! :eek: I won £4.90!
Hope we had some mse millionaires!

Good Morning,

Had rain here too. It must have come on just in time for the burning of the Wickerman which would be a shame but as DH said most peeps would hardly notice. They had good weather for the rest of it anyway.DS3 is pretty burnt although he says it is a tan. He seems to have had a girl rubbing after sun onto him anyway. Hope he gets back before we set off.

Hope your mum stays in hospital wingo. Just had the bad news yesterday that my favourite aunt has a large bowel tumour. She is 81 but has always been so fit and with it. She won't know for 2 weeks what if anything they will do. Her husband has Altzeimers so she is worried about him too.
On the bright side DH's niece has announced her pregnancy - she is nearly 34 I think so we thought she maybe wasn't going to have any. Will have to enter some baby comps now.

ILC I very seldom order my groceries to be delivered. Asda has offered me free delivery all summer if I spend £60 but I started and couldn't find enough that was cheaper than Tesco that I wanted. Like to look for bargains while I am shopping in store.

Morning all :wave: Heavy rain through the night so cooled the air down a bit and watered the grass which was quite brown and patchy.
Taking kids to swimming baths as there's no gym/footie today.

Sorry to hear about your aunt Sheils. The big 'C' is a horrible word. My mum is in the best place on the cancer ward as she was giving up with all us and dad was beside himself with worry, even lost a stone himself. Great news on your niece though and good luck with baby comps

Well, after threat of thunderstorms, we had a piddling couple of hours of rain yesterday that did nothing but tickle the garden. However, just to have a bit of rain was glorious and I stepped outside, took a deep breath and the fresh smell of the land was lovely!! Having said that, I appreciate that some have had very bad storms and I take nothing for granted - nature as it is. xxxx

Fairly busy today, gave the back lawn a gentle cut just to tidy up a wee bit, have done fair bit of long overdue pruning as we have a bit of a breeze, which is quite refreshing, and had to get hosepipe out to try and save some of me plants

Hate wasting water, if I can help it, but some plants that are struggling were from me beloved mums garden. Just can't watch them die off!!

AB Whenever I go in some lotto shops & ask for a ticket or SC they say "Just the one" - do you think they know something I don't?

AB - Am joining your (accident prone) club!
Bit my finger instead of sandwich, agony + blackened nail edge! AND
Knocked Eleccy tootbrush on the floor, no more vibration :mad:
Took apart + an hour later (+a jigsaw puzzle game) I've got the tip vibrating again! (jacuzzi in a cup)
Clever how they get everything in the handle.
Just need to think of a way to seal the top (under the brush head)
