Had a slight bit of an accident :eek:

Decided to hoover upstairs re cat hairs etc. Usually puddy disappears but this time hackles went up!!!! Puddy is fine, but to cut a long story short, In trying to calm her, we both came a cropper!!!! She went one way and I went t'other!!!! Cat is fine!!

I fell over the hoover big time and have bruises to me arm, me leg and head, :eek:what a bummer but no breakages thank the lord. Typical for alf - so accident prone!!!

Bruising going down now, and am pleased I got upstairs done!!! Such is life!!! xxx All is well now, alf is doing ok!! xxx

O'h dear Alf hope you aren't feeling too sore.
I hurt my little toe yesterday by running a supermarket trolly over it and it is all black, swollen and sore today. Only had my flipflops on at the time. Managed to walk down the town earlier but not going any further today I don't think.

It must be a week for Internet problems Alfie! Mine kept going off all last night so gave up in the end! I was hoping to get some comps in before the mse shut down. It makes me think back to what Dreams was saying before about loads of pc's/tv's will stop working this year. Oh well, at least hubby finished his night shift now so will go out tonight for tea.
I think it's the raffle number Alfie that's the 100 millionaire winners tonight.
I hate it too ILC when you get different serial letters. I always find if I put it on online the letters are no where near the winning ones!

Got nothing much planned fire**fly today, DD2 at playscheme for a couple of hours so I'm just pottering around house till DH gets up. He moans if I Hoover when he's in bed after nightshift!

Good luck getting a new laptop Sheils. Have you had a look on EBay outlet for one? A friend was telling me she gets all her electrical goods off there as they're supposed to be from high st stores anyway when they get too much stock. Not had a look myself so not sure about them.

Walwin, hope you managed to get the top you wanted. My iPad stopped working again so I didn't get the order in the end. I might just pop in matalan to see if they have anything I wanted.

Nothing in post today, two letter for hubby! (what a cheek...him getting letters! :whistle: )

Oh! Hope you are ok sheils? :A Poor toe!!! I am finding now that accident prone as I am, and always have been throughout me life, that these days I have to be so careful ..... lol scrap that .... Ooh I hate stubbing my toes Sheils. _pale_ Some of the girls at work wear flip flops even though they're not supposed to but if they were to run the wheelchairs over their toes I'm sure it would change their mind!

When DD1 asked what they called the royal baby, DH joked on saying it was called Denzil. "Don't be daft..said DD...that's what you put in cars!" :rotfl: I don't know where we got her from!

Hope fully an ice n a slice will help on the foot and/or in thy mouth. :eek:


I prefer strapped sandals as continuously walking in flippies etc. makes my feet ache. (Scrunching ones toes to grip)

Can manage the local shop in my crocs

Wingo's prefer separate tix so get different euro raffle numbers rather that using the same raffle per go.

Unfortunately the incident this morn was by the office - so puddy and I got tangled up - she legged it (safe and secure) I tripped over big time!!!! Over the flipping hoover, went flying!!!:eek::eek:! Lol!! Such is my luck!!!!

Hit me arm, head on desk and wee knee knock...... stunned me for a mo but all ok now!:D Tough old bird!!!! xx

Thanks everyone - I'm sure I will survive! Was really grumpy after I did it and DH said thank goodnes it wasn't his fault. Always wear trainers for walking but put on flipflops in the car and kept them on for shopping. Never doing that again.
Totally confused about lotto, raffle tickets etc but hope everyone has a nice win from them. (Don't do them so I won't)
Had a quick look on ebay wingo but think I will probably buy from Amazon or Argos. Had picked one from Argos but before I went to get it the price was back up. Not handy for shops here and don't really want to go laptop shopping on our breaks.No panic really as if this one becomes unusable I still have an old one that works fine but is a bit slow.
