I'm not sure red...maybe she saw your post previously about making some last year and maybe they thought you were a regular donating to charities? I would just reply explaining you only made them for family before and that you don't have little ones :)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Not being as polite as wingo Red, I would just ignore the pm.

Waited for the sun to come out and set out for a beach we hadn't been to for about 20 years as kids liked a nearer one and there aren't toilets at this one either. Was looking forward to it as I used to stay at it when a friend lived there when we were teenagers and as I say hadn't been for years. Got to within a mile of it and got stopped by the police! There was an ongoing incident with a farmer with a gun chasing peeps of his land they said. They were waiting on an armed unit arriving. We finished up going for a walk in woods at a nearby town so a bit disappointed. Can't find out anything about the incident. Sounds really strange.

DD1 bought GK's 2 bikes over as she has got them new one for their birthdays in August and let them have them early. Makes me so cross as there is absolutely nothing wrong with the ones they had only one had a puncture. Anyway spent most of the afternoon trying to mend this puncture, just had my Dad had shown me, but can't sort it out. It stays up find until I put the inner tube back in the wheel and then it does down. Big sigh. Off to try again, just came in for a moan.

Sorry your trip to the coast didn't work out Sheils you will have to try again on another weekend. Glad you managed a nice walk though.

Are you not sharing the apple crumble with us today firefly?? Could do with something sweet before the family descend on me.:rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you get puncture sorted Sylvia - I am useless with them. DS3 has had a puncture on his for about a year and is too lazy to fix it even though his dad and DS2 have offered to help him. No-one is going to do it for him so don't think it will ever get fixed.
Still can't believe there were going to be armed police going to a beach near here. Might try again tomorrow if it is hot enough as it isn't that far away just awkward to get to on narrow roads.

Oh my thats a tad scarey! why cant things like a day out be simple? we went to the kids park and people were smoking weed today so we left :( must be a day for idiots ruining things.
On a better note i had such a great night last night thanks to the cadbury crispello win. My husband and I arrived before everyone as theyd asked for me only for photos (eek) I had a photographer getting me to pose out in the street which was scarey for me especially saturday night, quite busy people looking etc lol.
We had champaigne and crispello, sat down for the gig with Vikki Stone and her wonderful warm up act (need his name as he was very good). Vikki was so funny, and made a song up about me. We played deal or no deal for cheese lol.
Everything was filmed and photographed Im not photogenic so was so nervous lol. i kept getting handed chocolates but was worried i'd have choc around my teeth or face lol.
An amaizing win and very surreal, I got a framed certificate and some pictures but Vikki's agent promised me the photographers pics and the video photage :)
