Am I the only one who read that and started singing 'tempurates rising' to the tune in the raining men song? It's the first thing that came into my head! :rotfl:

I'm just watching the catch up on that 'something for nothing'
It's a comper who is on fb on it too who has successfully run her own comping mag. I meant to watch it earlier but been on phone to my sis gabbing away! I forgot what she called me for now!
Aw I love the piccy Sylvia :kisses3: I haven't got chance for my soak yet!I agree about the flowers etc drying out. It was on news earlier saying due to the previous wet & snowy weather flowers and fruit are taking longer to come out. My dads garden is normally full of flowers by now but he hasn't as many this year.
Good luck for the euro tonight everyonemassive jackpot!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

firefly - thanks for the freebie info and also your win. Went to homebase and got some parsley, coriander and basil seeds today so will start them off soon on the windowsill. Will I need to keep them indoors over Winter?
SYL
hiya sylv :j sorry was finishing off
basil needs to be kept indoors/greenhouse,
or if you have a conservatory it'll be fine,
it depends on how open your garden is to elements for the parsley & coriander,
once the young plants are strong enough to be planted & hardened off outside in their pots they'll be fine outside until winter, they can survive a mild frost but won't survive out over winter.

Morning all,
Just popped in quickly to wish everyone a lucky day.
We are heading off to Ullswater to finally have our annual sail and do a bit of hill walking! Really fed up of checking the forecast for there and getting shower signs that never happen so going today anyway as it will get busier and busier as the summer goes on. Meant to stay the night when we went this year but have the dentist tomorrow - sigh. New toothbrush is working well though so maybe will stop the hygienist moaning at me!
Have a lovely day. Will hear about any wins when I get back.
