We went out a walk tonight and kept meeting peeps who looked burnt. It was lovely seeing the hotels and attractions busy when we were away. Britain can't be beaten when the sun shines.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

I guess buildings can absorb heat during the day and act like a storage radiator during the night!
Weird how around 20c in the winter can be just right, but in the summer can be ghastly.
For me it's the   humidity  :eek:0 -
Well done on the win LadyM
Much cooler here today and like Sylvia, I'm wearing a warm dressing gown!
Sheils, if you're in Guisborough, the Forrest at Flatts lane is a lovely area too for walks & picnics
I've just watched a video on YouTube what someone posted of a takeaway ten mins away. They poured chip fat down drains constantly and have already been fined for it. The video was took on Saturday in sweltering heat and raw sewage overflowed the streets after they poured it down, bringing out rats. _pale_ Yuk!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
We used to park behind a take-away. The front look ok but the back and grease/fat dripping/fat coated brickwork!
