What a day I have had. DD called me last night and asked if I would go to EPC clinic this morning to see if all well after the miscarriage. Got there at 7.45 and they open at 8. I had downloaded the assesment form from the internet so she sat and filled it in before the door opened. They gave everyone a clipboard with a form on it and when DD gave them her form they said she had to fill in another as they had numbered the ones in the box. It was the same form though. She was no 4 to be seen and had an examination, swabs and then had to wait for a scan. We eventually saw doctor again at 11.00 and she said scan showed some fluid in the cavity behind the uterus and she needed bloods taken. She asked dd if she had had an ectopic pregnancy. Now when dd went 2 weeks ago with bleeding and pain they would not scan her so how would she know?
After another 2 hour wait she talked to consultant and bloods showed 2.7% hgc still in the blood although pregnancy test showed as negative. They concluded she had an ectopic pregnancy and her body was just disposing of the rest of it and that was the fluid. They said that all her reproductive organs showed as ok but there may be fluid in one of the fallopian tubes and she will have to wait to see if it affects future pregnancy tries.
As this was all happening had a phone call from the lifeline people to say Mum had fallen over. So after 10 minutes i managed to reach my sister and she went over to see to her. She has bruised her wrist so after we got back I went and put on a freeze spray and strapped it up.
What a day. I am really not happy with hospital as ectopic pregnancies are dangerous arent they? Surely they knew it was not normal to bleed for 4 weeks?
Exhausted now
What a terrible experience rose, hope you are resting now :AMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Afternoon luvlies, not posted for ages been up to my eyes with work.
Thought of you yesterday 3dogs, hope you're ok - nice to see people thinking of you too.
Did manage to get away for a few days last week, to beautiful Poole. TS think this your part of the world and Marrbett not too far away too.
DH and I enjoyed spending Saturday evening sitting alongside the port listening to some lovely music - 'Folk on the Quay'. Great bands and totally free
Spent most of sat morning and afternoon walking round Brownsea Saw 2 red squirrels some deer and 8 baby peacocks, 4 with each mum. DH said it looked like a mother and toddler group the way they were all walking around together, they were so sweet.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet. I updated the Shopitize app on my phone and there's some sort of mini survey going on. With the chance to earn money just by clicking on the 'answer a question', 'did you knows' or share on fb. I'm showing £13.40 to redeem so far just from the mini survey thing. I know it's just from that as I only transferred my purchase money 2 weeks ago. Hope this makes sense
Off to feed my face then a bit of a catch up:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -
Thats my theory blown out of the water then
I have a new theory
Is it possible we're dealing with 2 sets of barcodes for some yogs?
I think they downsized the packs a while back (a long while back!) and I remember seeing some yogs with barcodes on top which didn't have numbers on.
It's probably a bit far fetched but that's all I got nowHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

I dont need any, but you keep tempting me. I may have a visit tomorrow.
Edit: no, I am going to my new one, and going to see how many £2 off vouchers I can use before they stop me.
They send you mails asking you to do bits. I just write a conversational report, if I show the stuff to my mum and friends etc. They suggest a games night to try and wear the batteries out but that's not always ideal.,
They ask your opinion at various times through the trial. Its easy xxx0 -

I'm shocked they didn't do a scan if they suspected an ectopic
Thoughts with your poor DD, I hope it hasn't affected her chances of getting pregnant in the futureHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
