Well I was surprised how much I missed joining in :o
Lurking is not the same :(

I suppose it is like looking through a window at a party, you can see what is happening but its not the same as being part of it

Plus I didn't want any tight Scotsmen missing out on nappies even though our government pays massive subsidies for most things for the heathens north of the border :rotfl: ;)

Joanna Lumley really has got the most perfect voice.

If money was no object I would pay her to live with me and read to me every day :)

    (bit random)

My favourite narrator was Kenneth Williams - reading Wind in the willows.:D

I do appreciate all you say MD, however I work full time and I too have a family with 2 young kids and I (like many other elitists) have my hands full every single day of every single week, however, I believe that I should make an effort to contribute when I receive so much back in return.

An occasional "hello" goes a long way, rather than just "take, take, take" which is all I seem to see from you.

My perception is that I don't see you for days or weeks on end until a glitch appears and then so do you, asking for everything to be handed to you on a plate.

Sorry for being such a GSFSB folks, I've had a dreadful day at work and I have to take it out on someone..:(

Go to bed, cuddle your wife, look at your kids before they go on the school run in the morning and smile and BREATHE you grumpy git :D

    Liking the Tropic bird
and when I quoted it and then went to check the name by scrolling down it shows the picture 50% bigger even better :T

Can you not get a job out there or take in lodgers :D

I could easily get a job there in my profession, but still have 2 DS' s at home. Leaving them alone in the house for our 4 week hols is enough to convince me that it wouldn't be a good idea for an extended stay/permanent move. ;)Also have mil 83 and mum 76 to take into account. Definitely in our plans in the future though:D:cool:

Or go to bed and bump and grind that frustration away :p
  • Night all..

My apologies for being grumpy tonight, however, sometimes some things just have to be said.;)

Have a good night shift and I'll catch up with you all in the morning.:D
