We also had a rat plague in the garden - it was gross, bait and a trap helped to eradicate this first lot.
When the 2nd lot came it snowed so we could see the little foot prints leading back under the fence to next doors shed. So the lady next door got the council in :D
So now we only put bird food out on the feeder in the daytime, never on the ground.

With them coming from the river and woods I think we're stuffed :(
I know a couple of doors down they have a chest freezer in their shed so assume they nest under there (they seem to like running under all our sheds)
When it snowed we knew they were about as they left groove type trenches across the untouched snow in the garden
Only thing we can think of is to rip down our old wooden shed (which is on its last legs anyway) and put up a nice shiny new metal one.
Not sure it'd stop them using our garden as a 'rat run' but at least the shed would be more secure.

Also depends on wether you have conditional spends for tosco - sadly not for me so I might attempt a
    Sada v sainsbobs
Shop - mind you sainsbobs change some prices mid week which adds another level of difficulty :(

J20 has doubled in price at T (according to msm) - now over £4.00! S is £2.14 until 23/7. Morries have had J2O on offer at £2.14 for a number of weeks and may still do so this week but I don't know yet. (If they do, it could now be Tvs M for those without an A or... DTD! DTD! DTD!!!...)

Unless you are talking of some different size J2O:o.
Need to check flavours/varieties etc. Check msm.co.uk for S, T and A. There are apparently the 4 pack multipacks in A at £3.00 which compare to S £2.14 but are £4+ in T (so do not compare them on a comp vs T). The 6 pack versions (apparently also £3.00 in A according to msm - or is that a glitch??) are N/A for Sains. Do not compare them to T however as they are significantly more expensive! Need to work out whether £3 for 6x250ml or 10% off £2.14 for 4x275ml is cheaper. (I'll leave you with that one!:D)

For those with no A, these could be good for T comps vs A on the 6s, or Tvs S or M (assuming M are still £2.14) on the 4s, depending on which works out best.

Is there any truth in the rumour that if you eat standing up you don't put weight on.

    I'm sure it's true

:rotfl: You sound like my DW, she, has eveything in order, and I move things around when she's not looking. She has sauces in size, tins in alphabetical order and all sorts of OCD things including vases and ornaments facing the right way. I like to play, spot the difference with her. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hmmm. Sounds a bit like me too. :o

And I bet she notices straight away. I can tell in an instance if someone has got anything out of any cupboard in my house. No fear of anything being moved outside of them no one except me ever does any dusting. ;)

Hi my little cherub. How are you?

Thanks so much for asking, I am still here. Not been posting much as I am an embarrassment to the 5:2 club. I've tried my very best but I just can't do the 600 calories thing. I've really tried but I just struggle so badly. The headaches are a killer and my hay fever has been quite bad lately too.

Having said that, I have cut the junk out and it's more or less 2 salads a day, shed loads of mint and fennel tea and no collections of crisps/pizza/pop whilst in bed. Weirdly enough, I have dropped 2 more lb so that's a total of 4 lb since I started.

How are you faring and how are the others doing? Hope everyone is seeing some improvement. If not, I am sure in time you will see results.

You are NOT an embarrassment to the 5:2...you've lost twice as much as me so far :p

    Evening :)

Just been up to say goodnight to DS2 and had the following good news.

'Mum, you forgot to put my banana I'm my school bag today. It's ok though, you are nearly 44 and you can't be expected to remember everything the way you used to. You know how your eyes are getting bad and that's why you need glasses? Well, that's deterioration and the same thing is happening to your brain cells. It's normal. Soon you will be developing wrinkles because your skin will lose elastic and you might become a little deaf and need false teeth'

Guess who's been on Wikipedia again :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sometimes you don't need the truth! :o
