    Good afternoon everyone:wave:

    A bit cold here today...mr sunshine is in hiding. Just stopped raining. It looked so promising this morning:eek:where has summer gone?

    Had a lovely weekend, my niece was 1.. So we went to her party.
    Managed a yogurt shop though but didn't have time to catch up so missed the biscuits:(

    Never mind...

    annoyed with myself last night, I didn't join the 5:2 but decided to stop eating rubbish every night of the week. For lunch on a daily basis I've been having tortilla wraps filled with salad, a slice of ham and a drizzle of dressing instead of my usual sandwich..well it turns out that the tortilla wrap is 3x the calories of 1slice of bread!!! Wasn't a happy bunny when I read the packet. DH just laughed!!

    Little mans asleep and I really should be looking for car insurance quotes but can't be bothered:D

    For those green fingered pea growers....here comes a stupid question..:rotfl:

    How do you know when they are ready? Is it a case of personal taste? How big the peas feel to be etc? I've never grown peas before but my DD got 3 plants in the garden with a few flowers and pods on..

    Hope the sun is shining where you are...cos it isn't here:p

    Ttfn Mt2m:)

    i feel the pods and when they are quite full they are ready but if you let them go to big they are not as sweet and tend to be harder

    Hi folks - keeping up just - but nothing exciting to show.

    Savvy - thanks so much, that will teach me to post receipts at god knows what o'clock in the morning, I was just thinking oh I rarely find anything interesting to post and I hadn't noticed the fish fingers had stopped comparing - duh. So thanks for reading, noticing and pointing it out to peeps. :T

    Mhoc fishfingers stopped comparing and whilst Kingsmill worked for me hasn't been doing for everyone. HTH. Hope you and yours had a great break....

    Q0C - I've only lost 1lb this last week despite 3 fast days but busy with helping school and have driven more than I have walked to get to places on time. So hopefully a better result next week and more walking now production finished. But as peeps have pointed out on fb page that's the equivalent of 2 packs of lard/butter less to carry around. Also means 5lb loss over 2 weeks so still good. Need to get more organised tho - made a big pan of veg soup this morning!

    Tinyshoes - considering your week - you've done amazing.:T

    Sending love and hugs to Logie, 3 Dogs and anyone else needing them. :A

    Lutzi1 and choirchick - hi :j

    So proud of my DS with his production :T - he played a blinder with his adoring girl part (think Joseph and the Technicolor dream coat meets panto and you get the idea). So now to prepare for the leavers assembly on 19th and leaving party on 20th - tissues at the ready.....

    Wishing a good day to all - and particularly those fasting today .......

    For anyone who has an American Express card;

    They're doing the Small Shop thing again in July. This time it's spend £10 and get £5 back on up to 10 transactions.

    You have to register to take part;

    https://enroll.amexnetwork.com/GB/en/ShopSmallUK2013/?intlink=ukgms-marcm01&source=AX3166

    Thanks for this. My card number was not recognised last time, its a sainsbobs nectar card but I've recently changed it to the sainsbobs nectar card with no fee and this time it seems to have worked, anyway I've registered.

    Do you get an email with detailed instructions on how this works?

    I've been on the link to see what places are local on my list - I suppose ideally you need to spend exactly £10. On my dads postcode it says his local estate shopping centre which is just a newsagents, pharmacist, Peacocks and a co- op.
    On my postcode it shows as the very posh local butchers which my eldest son used to work at - just have to be brave and say I just want to spend £10 on meat :)

    Ta for this, its answered one of my questions regarding the comparison price for j20.

    Are any of the normal Sada v tosco fillers working eg s & g, kingsmill, fish fingers etc?

    I've started the job of looking at my moc envelopes and I've found £3 in APGS still in date so that's a good start on a Sada list - it has to be £10 to get free parking, so 2 lots of j20 plus fillers that compare :)

    QUOTE=meandmebargains;62173175]Test shop done at 9:33 today.

    Oreos brought in 3 for £2 along with Jamie dodgers not showing on apg. Jaffa cakes brought in 3 for £3.50 offer along with Maryland big & chunky not showing on apg.
    J20 excellent filler as cost £3 but Compares to Tosco £2.14, used £1 voucher minus 10% on apg makes them 93p.... I think, please correct if I'm wrong

    Due to the ASDA Price Guarantee, you're entitled to a voucher of £7.23:
