Result from a v Morries shop. I was targeting San Miguel which is on offer at M's but it doesn't even appear on the APG.:(
Anyway........ thought the results might be useful for Savvybuyer.
Turkey slices still not being picked up Savvy.
Only 2 of my KTC compared with M's but m'buy not showing on APG.
I'm thinking buy 12 tins Toms, IF m'buy for A's not showing and IF APG picks up 4 for £1 for M's - pay £4.00, APG 1.86p, cost 18p a tin.
My A's closed now - I'll give it a go tomorrow.
I thought not - I bought two of the Footballers slices packs tonight, so this is one off to HQ. Same with the mix and match KTCs - if they fail to pick up some of them at M it messes up the comparison.
This was a judgement call by myself on the KTC - and, on balance, I decided to include it in the list. Some Ms don't appear to have much of the KTC range, and I could only find the tomatoes and the chick peas in the one I used on Wednesday. From the SELs though, there are a lot more in Ms (in total) and they do have the mix and match across all of them. Someone previously posted on this thread about M having 4 for £1 on these, including lots of different beans products, e.g. Kidney/Butter/Black Eye. I was halfway to putting a post asking "can you check in Ms as I don't seem to have all these items...":o on the KTCs but in the event settled it for myself - the problem I had with some of the beans is "are they in salted water"? But, on this one, I looked around - and concluded they weren't going to be KTC in anything else (the beans I've included) and therefore they were comparable (should be comparable) to Ms.
It's a fine one on this one - but I've concluded that I was enough sure for me to include it and it be the exact same items in both stores. On other (very few) occasions, as you'll probably know, I have left items off the M list whilst I check again (because I haven't noted the specifics of the product precisely enough) that they are the same. Sometimes I'm fairly sure, but not enough - so I leave them off, especially if they are already comparable vs another competitor at the same price.
HTH. (I hadn't caught up with A more than doubling the price on their Batter Mix! Well done for getting it back to the just under 7p price:). Could this however be an indication that M has now increased its price...?:( Noticed this on some of the SP Biscuits - everyone else that has an equivalent has increased their prices - and now A follows suit.)0 -
