Been receiving strange phone messages from Lloyds TSB on my mobile regarding someone called William Grove.
Asking me to press any number to contact them. Ignored.
After the 4th call I rejected the number.
Then it started again from a different number = rejection list
Then again from a third number = rejection list
Looked on my mobile & 36 rejected calls in an hour
So I rang one of the rejected numbers from my land line but when I said I wasn't William Grove the call was terminated - understandable.
So I then rang Lloyds TSB CS number.
Spoke to a nice man. Who took details of my number, put me on hold, came back & is sending me £16 :eek: for letting them know :T
So I deduce that something horrid has happened to Mr Groves account & they are desperate to contact him0 -

Just been trouted in A's..used 2 cushelle coupons (used on smaller ones) and had 2 pizza coupons, thought I would use them against the panbello..although not the exact right pizzas..SA didn't notice that..but as soon as she saw the coupons I got...we don't take photocopies...cue me rolling eyes and slight groan..they are not photocopies they are printed...nope wouldn't take them.
All the faffing made me realize I was going to miss my train home so I left all the shopping on the ss till...should have walked out..lol...but I went back for all the small bottles of persil non bio 18 wash that had gone through at £1.25 (only 7 in total)
Thought I would have fun and go to CS to complain too, I then got told if they are on promotion then you can't use them...I asked her where does it say that..silence...then I asked when are these pizzas not on offer? last week I actually bought 2 of the pizzas with the promo still on the boxes.
Knew it would be a waste of time though..even called someone else to tell me the same thing..that was worth waiting for..wasting my time. Guess I will have to get on and write a complaint now..I kept saying it is ridiculous....:rotfl::rotfl: well, the manufacturers run these promotions as an incentive for you to buy the products and then you can't use the coupons, ridiculous :rotfl: ( I like that word)
This was in Poole btw, so Tiny beware, guess I should just stick to t's for coupons.
Thanks for the heads up. I was going to buy 2 pannebello pizzas and Cushelle on the way home. Hopefully I'll have more luck than you.
I was wondering about the pizzas, it says £1.50 each or 2 for £4 on MSM, does that mean the APG system will compare at £1.50 or £2.0 -

It seemed to guilt trip another 2 to move so they got seats eventually, but what a horrible generation that are being bred if they are too selfish to give their seats up for the elderly
Group of kids walking ahead of me back from Ts yesterday. The boy just threw his empty drink bottle on the grass :mad: There is a bin 5 yards away - I pointedly picked it up & binned it, but didn't say a word

That's interesting. I think that kind of confirms what I was saying just above. MSM says £1.50 each or 2 for £4 at A and £1.49 at T.
So would 2 pizzas work or do we have to buy in 3s. I only have 2 £1 off vouchers.0
