ian_duncan_smith wrote: »Yesterday around midday I was at Haslingden Tesco looking for 1p items. Tic Tacs had scanned full price in the morning (both varieties) at Accy having scanned for a penny 2 days earlier. The Jelly Beans were a penny at Accy, but at Haslingden there was a young man with a piece of paper checking the tic tacs. When I started looking he asked if I wanted any. They were spearmint, I told him I wanted fresh mint. He said he was looking for them as head office had sent through an EPW (Emergency Product Withdrawl) order on a list of items. He claimed it was because of there being something wrong with the products making them dangerous. I saw the list and it clearly said that the items on it had wrongly been reduced to clear at 1p. On the list were:
Moshi Monsters sweets
Tic Tacs (both varieties)
Fizzers
Jelly Beans.
To double ckeck what was happening I went to Great Harwood, and found all these items missing, plus a box full of the Calofornia Honey Nuts was also missing from the shelf.
So I decided not to continue on my search further a field. Just a heads up for anyone popping out specially.[/QUOTE
Hi
