    Good Afternoon :)

What a miserable day! :( non stop rain since before lunchtime. Hope someone somewhere has managed to get some sunshine.

I had a service check this morning while using the handheld scanners in my local T's , I only had a 6 pk of water :rotfl:

I ALWAYS have service checks on mine - might be something to do with the way I scan things then put them back :D

Are they rolling these scanners out to all stores? I know of one store in Bristol that has them, but none of the others do.

Would save trekking to the wall mounted scanners to check items.

My schools shut but I got to go in cleaning :(

What! Strike no one told me! We were in I hadn't heard about strikes today.

Wouldn't mind being on strike tomorrow - it's sports day.:p

I think they were just in the North West? Most schools managed to stay open here as far as I know. DS2 school had support staff covering to keep the school open

Members of the two largest teaching unions, the NUT and the NASUWT, held a one-day strike. I thought it was all over.

Day 2 this week of fasting, and I've found it difficult. I've been more or less constantly hungry, been drinking water like its the end of the world and I've still struggled :(

But I've just had a peep on the scales and they are looking happy so that's enough motivation to keep me going :)

My evening meal, a hot bath and bed are the order for tonight I think :D
