Today I managed to get 36 1p items and 2 packs of the 25p pepper beef jerky. Also hello to the people I saw at WA T's who clocked what I was doing  I didn't leave many behind but I did offer them some of the items I boughtNeedless to say Emma's happy and she can't wait to get her hands on my nuts
All these sweet 1p items isn't helping my physique, can someone sort it so we can have some 1p beef jerky or similar.
They're on clipstrips so it's a possibility!0 -

Oh, good evening!:)
I suppose you're wating for the Morries results from me and the highlights. Well, if so, you'll ruddy well have to wait!;) The APG apparently is now updated on Friday with the results they've obtained today (which may or may not match my own results - of course they should match them!:D). Therefore no real highlights as the changes are not all in one place, and it's best for the details to drift out in due course.
Just a few items I'll mention though. For those who accept nothing less than 'the real thing', the Coca Cola 8x330 cans packs are £2.10 in M (looks like a 'flash' offer - due to end 30/6). Also some Kellogg's cereals have hit my roughly 20p/100g price. The one comparable from A is Kellogg's Frosties 500g. They are £1.14 in M until 30/6 (again, a flash - these are 'good' offers). Not as good as 10% cheaper than a rival's £1.00, as we've had before, probably about a year ago, but still quite good.
This works well for what I now call the "cereals line" that I have at home. We used to buy as and when we needed and ran out, just like most people still do, but that ended up way overpaying all the time. Now I have the next year's cereals lined up (in date order:cool:) on the shelf. About one pack a month. There's no Frosties among them now, so it seems well timing and just about right, to keep us going another month, having just finished one other pack of cereal:T. Now I wait for the offers, through the year, and this allows us some variety.
So, with A5da's Kellogg's Frosties 750g down to £2.00 (26.7p/100g), it's time to... buy the 500g Kellogg's Frosties instead:rotfl::rotfl:- they're at seemingly more expensive straight in A than the 750g Frosties (£2.28 for 500g, £2.00 for the 750g pack). The 500g pack, at £2.28, are therefore the cheapest option:rotfl: for me as I'm comparing vs M at £1.14 (10% off 22.8p/100g). You can see which is cheaper... do you want the 750g ones at 26.7p/100g - or the 500g ones at 22.8p-10% /100g via APG we hope vs Morries!:rotfl::rotfl:?:D
Finally, Avs M only (and sorry M comp unavailable in Northern Ireland), Bernard Matthews Footballers Turkey Slices 100g - A £1.00 M 50p. I've been waiting (and waiting) for the Dinosaur Turkey Roll to go back down* to half price in M, but not to worry - the Footballers version will do instead - and, let's face it, it's probably just exactly the same except with a picture of a footballer and goal on the front (and you know I have no truck with such pure inane marketing promotion as I think it is:rotfl::rotfl::D).
*It was last 50p in M possibly a year ago now.0 -
Hmm, the coke could be good if they compare with Asda Savvy!“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

As promised I had a look out for these today. I was going more towards the Frootz but in the last few minutes I've just changed my view onto the Paxo, for reasons that will become clear. (In fact I'm now going for both, in separate ways:rotfl:.)
Sorry - I couldn't find any Frootz in M. It doesn't mean M doesn't stock them, as some other store might do so. I looked, and re-looked about twice, around the sweets and hanging bags and checked for them at all the checkouts:eek:. None there and didn't come across them anywhere else. So it looks like they may be 47p A vs S 45p (if we are buying only one, as unusually we might do so here) - makes them about minus 6.5p.
The Paxo 85g - I was going to go, as it seems A is cheaper. T or Svs A would only pricematch to the same 47p price (and you'd have to have 9 more items, or £20 total bill, in T or S respectively). T 54p, S 54p, A 47p. (10% off 54p being 48.6p so would lose you money on a Avs T or S shop.) But... - I'm glad I wrote this down - M are 51p:T. So it's Avs M, 47p vs 51p, is 45.9p but the 54p cashback, so in effect the cashback is 8p more than the amount (with APG) if you put this onto the Avs M shop comparison that you were going to do anyway. 7 items (not 8 now), plus the Paxo Sage & Onion = your 8:T.
25p in Sainsburys according to 10ways just now (reduced from £2.20) :money:
Also the following crisps
► Nik Naks 12 pack 50p
► Space raiders 10 pack 48p
► Walkers crinkles 6 pack 25p
► Red sky 150g 25p
► Walkers extra crunchy 150g 25p
I also went to look for these crisps in Sains. on my way to M, and intending to buy them at those prices.
I know aau1 will appreciate my humorous intent on this (and, if not, it doesn't matter anyway, as it's now taken me so long to get to this part of this post:rotfl: that he's signed off for the night:D) - please when posting these products be more specific as to exactly which varieties are coming back at the low prices:rotfl:.
There was no crisps sell-off in my S. Apart from the fact I never have any luck finding 25p, or 1p/2p, items anyway - I suspect they don't say 25p on the shelf edges but are, supposedly, scanning at that price. There weren't any RTC price labels on any crisps in my S. The Crinkles I scanned came back with full price. I also went for the Extra Crunchy crisps but they each scanned at £2.00:eek::eek:. Is it all flavours of the Extra Crunchy crisps or only some of them - if so, which ones???:D:rotfl:
I know we have to be pedants and get the absolutely correct items, as I am (I hope!:rotfl:) when getting the M prices (and indeed when dealing with all my lists) and working out what should compare from other stores, although I do also fall short-sighted by going entirely by the prices stated on the SELs or products*, so any help on identifying the 1p or even 25p items behind the higher SEL prices would be appreciated. TIA.
*These are the prices that the APG uses, which is why I almost never look behind what the SEL says (apart from the fact it would take up too much time, as well as getting the SEL prices, to take items off for scanning).0
