Evening mad squad,
In sada, cucumber, iceberg lettuce and spring onions(bunch) are all 50p, I got these along with some cherry tomatoes on Sunday and made a large box of salad ready to grab and throw into a smaller (lunch size) container to take with me to work each day.
I added a tin of tuna yesterday and a handful of wafer thin ham today. Quick, easy, healthy, filling, MSE friendly, 5:2 friendly and low calorie. I ate some mid morning for a snack today and then the rest for lunch. I know if might seem boring but decided just to have the same again for tea (dinner), I ate an apple mid afternoon for a snack and I've drunk 2 and a half litres of water today. I figure I've had under 400 cals today and I'm feeling full and have found it easy. A cup of tea and a couple of biccys later before bed = sorted.
Fast days Tuesday and Thursdays, weight loss so far 5lb :T
Over the past week I have also halved a chicken curry, boiled rice and portion of chips from the chinese take away with mrs99p and went to an Indian buffet and stuffed my face.
If I can lose weight so can you!
Good luck all 5:2ers!!I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.
I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.0 -
