Slightly beside myself this morning, my cat has not come back since lunchtime yesterday , he does not do that.

I guess it could maybe be the nice weather. BB not a happy chick the now :(
I share your dread. With 3 13-year-old cats this has happened a few times for me. A day 'missing' was quite common when they were younger. One went missing for 3 weeks, and one for 6 days. Both times I feared the worst, but they came back very nonchalant, healthy, relaxed and well fed. And most surprised about my concern! We think they both took themselves on a camping holiday, as it was warm, rabbit season, and they just felt like it. I in the meantime had called all the neighbours, walked up and down the road several times each day, and checked with the vets and the microchip company that my details were up to date. Our cats are now safely locked in every night, and let out at dawn, when I let the chickens out. Hope your cat comes come soon. XX
I am not young enough to know everything.

Hmm. I used them and it wasn't a happy experience.

After 2 hours with the car they phoned to ask if I wanted everything in "their" service plan or everything in the dealer service plan, because if I wanted the latter it would be an extra £40.

...and they never got Happy Debs on board - the investment never went ahead.
Oh well  hopefully yours was a one off and not their business model
Needless to say will let you all know Thursday :rotfl:
