Anybody taken out a Abbey Mortgage recently?

Just wondering what the average time is from application to actually being in a position to exchange.

    We just got a mortgage from Abbey, it took a month from submitting the application to receiving the offer. We used a broker.

    Just got my offer today :j .
    It took about 8 weeks because of a few hiccups (mislaid paperwork etc), so dont get ''stressed'' as i did if it takes longer than you hope for.
