Eyebrows - New fashion?

Well i had to venture into town yesterday to visit the dentist/hygienist and was greeted warmly by the receptionist who looked like she had painted on a pair of comedy eyebrows.
She was lovely funny and very helpful but i found my eyes being drawn to the beast brows.
Thinking it was a personal preference i thought no more of it. Walked to Debenhams and there was a white blonde sporting the same Groucho Marx brows. Boots the chemist - again another lass going for the same look.
Suddenly they were everywhere. :rotfl:
I understand filling and grooming your brows but this looked bonkers. Is this a isolated local trend or a new fashion?

Please note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...

They are HD brows and very very big now. Started on a reality show Essex thing.
Some people suit them, me no way.0 -
I had to go google that - no idea :rotfl:! Blimey that looks like a lot of work to upkeep.0

These type of brows always make me think of Alistair Darling, now there's a man with comedy eyebrows....
I don't know which is worse, these super heavy Groucho brows or those awful very thin and wiggly ones which some women have when they have plucked them to only a tiny thin line. Both look really odd to me. Very dark brows with blonde hair looks very strange too (the 'Alistair Darling' effect).
Or am I just way off-trend?0 -

Um, yeah, that's how they got the name Scouse Brows then.
I've long been convinced that Liverpool, the city that brought us the flourescent orange tan, onesies as casual wear and hair on velcro rollers as the height of style, is in fact having a laugh at the South to see how much press attention their insane looks get and how many southern fashion victims copy it.
And now it's obviously come full-circle where the Essex lot are claiming they invented this in the first place! :rotfl:Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0 -

With thin ones...not all of us have plucked them. Mine fell out at each end (thyroid condition) and so I have none on the outer third to half (in fact they have started to grow back a little, one hair at a time) . Having experimented a lot the best of a bad job is a thin ish 'line' (actually I do a series of lines as an attempt at a less harsh look) More than that draws attention to the lack of hair. I don't have naturally heavy brows anyway, but as they thinned it did look like I was an over plucker.0 -
Oh dear so it is a trend.
What would make you think painting on a eyebrow three times larger than your actual one would be flattering.
You can see the original brow so the 'painted' in bit looks false and bizarre. (I could see that maybe in a photo shoot or in pictures the brow would look natural but not in real life where you can see the brow line and the coloured in section falls far outside the curve)
Then again i also used to think blue mascara and eye-liner was the bee knees in the eighties with my spiral perm... so i haven't the right to judge lolPlease note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -
Are they the sort of thing the Welsh guy on the Apprentice has?0

I have HD brows done but they certainly don't look like the scouse brows do. The result doesn't have to be so painted on and unnatural. I overplucked mine for years and they definitely look better now after this treatment. The overdone ones are certainly distracting and strange.0
