Why should you never look at anyone? Is that a "London" thing?0

Back in the 70s I had a weekly book show on LBC. When I recorded the programme on Sundays I would pick up next week's featured books (anything from eight to twelve titles) to read. The only way I could possibly get through them all (four for review from cover to cover, speed reading/gutting the ones I wold talk to authors about) was to hop on the Circle Line like you. I think the 'white noise' of the tube has lot to do with cutting out distractions.0

I know the posts on this blog are a couple of years old but I am very interested in trying to find a "study Space" because there is no where at home I can study with out distractions.
The Uni Library is to far.
Riding around and around on the Circle line could get expensive.
Drinking cups and cups of coffee in starbucks could also get expensive.
Also, going to a quite pub could get expensive.
Where can I go where I won't be disturbed and it won't cost me anything?0
