How long do mag dailies take you?

2

Comments

  • Takes me about 30-45 mins. I have my mags bookmarked in folders called mags 1 and mags 2. I open up all mags one and do each mag at a time by right clicking each comp I want to enter so they are all open in a new tab and I click away. Seems to take no time at all.

I haven't got to grips with Lastpass or Roboform (have tried both and didn't like either of them as I find Im faster just typing)

Ive had more luck in the mag dailies than any other kind of comp so I can't help feeling that these are the comps that seem more beneficial for me to do (although it has slowed down in 2013, but Ive not been entering as much anyway). Ive never won a comp that has been on the main board for a big prize that has only had one winner and one entry allowed.
Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers
Total Wins (Since April 2012) £3442.56
Big thanks to all who post comps :T:beer:

Just timed myself and it took me 90 minutes. I think I will cut down the amount I enter and not bother with those for toiletries, or cosmetics.

What I like about the dailies is that I can do them without really concentrating too much, whilst I am on the laptop, watching tv at the same time.

Zero minutes & zero seconds for me as I have never entered a mag daily.

My choice but I just get the impression the odds are not in our favour & I prefer to stick with the main board.Much the same for postals/text & regular comps.

My choice & no offence meant.

In the past I've won some nice prizes & won twice a month on average - since they went across the mags - it's down to around once - going to give it a couple of months to see if it's now worth the time

I dont think it's worth a time - they spread the same prizes across all the mags so the chances are very small. Do you still enter the same prizes from all the magazines or just limit yourself to one mag?

I agree completely - I used to win regularly with the daily mags but since the prizes have been spread out my wins have dropped considerably. The only positive thing is - the prizes are bigger and better now with less dvds or books and more tv's, washing machines etc so if we do win, we can feel our efforts have paid off!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

I restrict myself to the cash/coupon/holiday comps. Takes about half an hour in total. Won't be entering these competitions for much longer though as it is starting to feel like a waste of time for me.

Arrhggh...just lost my post. Will try again.

How are Last Pass users having their answers remembered? I'm new to Last Pass, so still finding it a bit difficult.

I don't bother with the magazine dailies anymore. I started doing them a few months ago. I entered a Total Recall Virgin Experiences voucher which I only entered for about two-three times, so you could (maybe not so much anymore), won with one or two entries. After that win, I saw a perfume I really wanted, so I entered without fail every single day and even doing so with eight perfumes going, I still didnt win. That same month I did every magazine, every comp, practically, with sharing and didnt win a single thing so I gave up. It was too time consuming and a bit joyless. I would spend about an hour or more on them and share for extra entries. This was before they made the prizes the same across all mags.
The thing I don't like about them, apart from them being boring and annoying, is that once you log-in and share, you always find an excuse to enter comps that you aren't that bothered with. At least I do. :)
I am in awe of the posters above who can do it in 15 mins!!
  • Takes me a lot less time than it used to because I'm very picky now, I don't enter those comps that are spread over several mags because I don't feel it's worth it, a couple of prizes spread over 6-7 mags just isn't worth my time, I really wish they would go back to how it used to be

The dailies used to take me 2-3 hours

Same here Tink, I have stopped doing those ones spread over several mags too and quite happy to continue doing the others I am interested in.
