I'll never go to Brighton again

Now that's common sense! Guarantee it won't be done, too many £££ gained from fleecing unaware motorists and this being Brighton they hate cars.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I have a thread running on pepipoo.
The latest thing I've spotted is that the photographic evidence on the web page associated with my ticket includes a picture through the passenger window which shows the ticket face down (but with the unique serial printed on the rear) just in front of my gear stick.
It occurs to me that if they printed the full details on both sides (they can print on the rear of the ticket) then the required information would have been visible.
Should work for you as an argument at formal appeal (when you get the NTO) or at adjudication if it comes to it. People in the know appeal all the way.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Well, I had my informal appeal rejected and then put in a formal appeal based on previous similar instance(s), but they made a mistake and didn't process and I called to check why, at which point they said oops their mistake and cancelled the charge whilst I was on the phone.
So the issue is resolved, but I'm bloody annoyed at Brighton and the whole process.
I had some great help on pepipoo too!0 -
Brighton and Hove Council make many mistakes when it comes to PCNs. It's ALWAYS worth challenging them. Just be aware they try and bully you into paying - they tried with me and even sent TWO employees to the face to face adjudication ( which I won ! ).0
