I don't believe there is anything stating you must own a horse in the T&C's or anywhere on the page.hamsterfan1 wrote: »I'm assuming you own a horse - tell them & ask what evidence they will accept
I have a number of friends with horses (who would be happy to receive a wee pressie) but I don't - and I enter other competitions on FB and Twitter. I'm sure there are other people who enter FB comps who own horses/work with/look after horses/work at a vetinary college
who could be excluded by this non existent ruling too? Poor show IMO. LegalBeagles0 -
Think what they have done is unfair & wrong. If you didn't break any rules then the prize should be yours. I'd definitely fight this.
I know it's not a massive prize but the way they have decided on a winner, then snooped on your fb and tw feed to see if you're worthy, then changed their minds and made up new rules along the way, is just wrong imo.
Maybe post a polite note on their fb page expressing your dismay. I think most people here would back you up (politely). If they still don't honour the prize I would mention taking it to the ASA/IPM too.0 -
It's just unfair. I horse-ride and I'm a comper who are they to say who can have what if it doesn't state so in their T&Cs.
I can't believe that they'd be so low to go looking at your pages! I'd make a complaint and I'll back you 100% of the way as I'm sure many others here will.
