FB Apps and Differences in FB Name

Hello.
My FB name is a shortened version of my full name. With FB apps, is it okay to use my full name or should I use the shortened version which is my FB name? (I hope that makes sense!)
I don't want to get disqualified if the promoters see that the names differ.
Thank you.

I think you'd be OK if it's an accepted diminutive such as Vicky for Victoria - but if you enter as Bo & your name is Estelle then it could prove a problem if you need to verify your identityproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

I've had to provide id before so always use my full name but I'd have thought if you a use a shortened version of your real name you should be fineA strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others.0

My real name is Anne-Marie but I use Annie as my FB name.
I always enter The Perfume Shop competitions under my full name as I have won with them before and they wanted ID proof before they would send my prize out.
I just wasn't sure if I entered with Anne-Marie when my FB says Annie, that they'd disqualify me.2019 Wins

Because then I'd have to ask every company that is running an app competition.2019 Wins
