Looks like he literally is doing a runner, 178 Malyons Road is for sale.
Search for Malyons Road on Zoopla. Interesting that the price has increased £30,000 since 2nd August......(edited to say that he's now looking for more, guide price now £35-£55,000 more than three weeks ago, poor guy must need the money).
  • Any update on this?

I have completed a complaints form, but how can I get my money - would it need to be a small claims court?

Is there some collective action we can take against this chap. Surely we can just take it out of the money he gets from this sale - plus interest of course.

its a government site that deals with companys like this they track them down and take legal action against them and it could involve the police as well if its deemed as fraud(which it is) it wont get you your money back as far as I am aware youd need to try and take some other kind of action fof that.

    Thanks

I will fire an email off and hopefully this guy will get what is coming to him.

Have you or anyone else done anything about trying to retrieve/claim your money? I wouldn't know where to start.

not sure really..looking at the GOV.uk site ,it says you can make a court claims on-line but You will have to pay a court fee, using a debit or credit card. So you can go on to GOV.uk site and type into their search box " Make a money claim online" it will give you the details when you choose the option and look further down the page there is also a help line number on that site maybe they could advise you?(cant give you link as a am a new user so it wont let me) other method could be a small claims court but I don't know how that works

Yep, I received the same email.

Wouldn't be surprised if it is the same company that has just changed names. I'll be suprised if they pay up the money. I've also emailed to advise that my money hasn't been paid. They promise to reply within 48 hours so lets see.

I don't think I will be doing business with them unless I can be satisifed with them and they are registered with the MRS.
