Santander mortgage through a broker

Our mortgage broker has submitted our application for a mortgage with Santander, the broker phoned over a week ago and said Santander had given us a decision in principle and now says she has put a full application in. All sounds good so far but, we haven’t seen any paper work yet, is this normal? When we applied with Nationwide (through the same broker) we had forms to fill in and sign, as part of the full application.
Thanks in advance

A Santander mortgage was sugested to me yesterday by a broker, and I was told it is submitted electronically by them - so there wouldn't be any forms for you to fill.0

Santander (abbey) require no signatures from the client throughout the process (until the solicitor executes the mortgage deed).
Neither do Nationwide these days - although they did 2 or 3 years ago before their new online system was launched.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Unless it was a "paper" application, which it could be for anything "unusual"I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Tell me about it - have got half a dozen paper apps to do this weekend including a couple for Nationwide (three applicants on most of them - so two forms each). That's my weekend ruined !!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

FWIW regardless of lender, I get a declaration and direct debit signed at point of sale and return a copy of the mortgage application to the client, after submission, for their records.
On this particular case, you should have received a KFI for the new Abbey deal before you were expected to confirm it's acceptable?I am a mortgage broker. You should have the advisers initial disclosure document and the key feature for the mortgage product as a minimum.
If you want a copy of the mortgage application the broker can print one off of the Abbey system for you.I am a Mortgage Broker
