Expat Mortgages - any advice?

Can anyone recommend a company that offers expat mortgages in the UK? I'm a UK citizen but am living abroad and wish to remortgage my property. There are added complications by the fact that the country i live in only has observer status in the FATF.

Thanks!

What is the size and objective of the remortgage?

You will also have an issue, in that UK brokers can I think, only legally "advise" on UK soil, so you may have to return to the uk, to submit an app.

Who do you work for? i.e. is it a government agency or multi-national company?

The way I deal with offshore cases is doing them on a non advised basis. Find a broker that operates this way.

Couple of lenders quite good for this and won't require proof of any personal income.

    You'll need 25% deposit.

    Sorry what is FATF?

    That's a new one.

It wont be regulated in any case, as it is not a residential deal.

Not sure how you can do as "non-advised" do your clients come to you and specify the lender and product?
