Definitely worth getting a quote from the TEP traders to confirm the value in this policy - they are the best informed people around.

    Do let us know.

    Hi Edinvestor,
Had a letter today telling me that Policy Plus would only match what NU would pay out for it. From what I can make out the link you gave me sends my details to a few companies. If so how many other companies can I expect a reply from?? Thanks.

Hi Edinvestor, I have today received an offer of £8905 from Oakwood. What do you think and have you ever heard/dealt with them before?? Thanks.

Hmm a 7% premium to the surrender value, not much, this policy doesn;t appear to be lighting too many fires :(.

Will Oakwood buy the policy from you immediately, or will they simply seek a buyer? If the latter, then I wouldn't bother as this can take ages and may not even happen.
