Height adjustable rolling pin

I would like to purchase a height adjustable rolling pin but there are different ones available, but which one is best for a complete beginner?

BTW I did do a search on rolling pins but could not find an answer to my question.

Aren't all rolling pins height adjustable? - if you want thicker pastry you don't press so hard. For thinner, press hard and keep rolling...

    anyway, intrigued, I googled

    and found this

tbh I just use a bog standard wooden one.

for pastry it's more important (IMO) to chill the pastry before rolling it and not mess it about too much.

  • Rolling pins are also used for rolling out fondant icing and other kinds of cake decorating, not just pastry.
There a few available on Amazon, all are similar in price with good reviews. The main difference is the material that it is made from, I would say get the Wiltons one if you are using it mainly for fondant icing as it is non stick.
