Up to £15 of RedSpottedHanky train ticket vouchers for everyone with their new game

RedSpottedHanky, the online train booking website, has launched a ‘Fantasy Wimbledon’ game on its website. At first glance, it doesn’t seem terribly interesting – you create your own team, earn points based on their performance at Wimbledon, and the highest ranking players win an iPad, Kindle, Wii or iPod Shuffle.
However, when you look at the details, it becomes a lot more interesting! Every point you earn in the competition will be converted to 3p of RedSpottedHanky train travel vouchers, up to a maximum of £15. And a decent amount of vouchers should be relatively easy to hit, because you can have up to 10 ‘transfers’ during the tournament, which allows you to remove players who get knocked out.

Thanks for this I've signed up to the game using a new login.

But used the same email address that I use for my Redspottedhanky account. So the points will track correctly.

I was easy to pick players but I'm sure most people might prefer a lucky dip.

As far I know most people. You need to login on the account page you should see loyalty on the account page click that and they might be there as points to convert to vouchers. :)

I find myself digging up an old post to comment and perhaps make people aware.

I earned 1092 points in Loyalty from this Fantasy Tennis Promotion and the points were credited to my account on July 27 2014

I couldn't see any expiry details for the points and as I had 300 points already on my account from previous years I wasn't worried about the length on time points were on my account.

HOWEVER. All 1520 points Worth £15 were wiped from my account on January 2nd 2014.

I tweeted Red Spotted Hanky and they replied saying.

"Loyalty points last up to per calendar year
after this time they will expire
once you redeem your points they then will
last a further six months so make sure you redeem them before they expire thank you"

I really struggled to find the terms and conditions of the loyalty points on the RSH website but here they are

    http://www.redspottedhanky.com/terms-and-conditions/loyalty/

You will find that any points you had in 2013 have been wiped unless you have redeemed them already.

My trip to London is costing me £15 more because of this hard to find information.

Firstly there seems to be some discrepancies in what you've posted ......

... from your "tweet" reply, the T&Cs and my information

    From above ...

once you redeem your points they then will
    last a further six months

    From the T&Cs
All points and e-vouchers created from loyalty points will be valid for one calendar year from 1st January - 31st December. If you do not collect and redeem your points or e-vouchers by the end of the calendar year they will not be carried forward to the following calendar year.

but ON MY ACCOUNT > Under E-VOUCHER DETAILS
(from 288 points redeemed just a few days before 31st Dec 2013 - "remnants" from the RSH Wimbledon Fantasy Tennis)

    AHKA-****** Balance: £2.88 until 12/31/2020

This indicates they expire in 7 years time !!!!

Secondly, regards losing the points, I guess you didn't also play the RSH Fantasy Grand Prix FORMULA 1 game ? It started March 2013 and ended in November 2013.
Only the points for this originally were going to be awarded (from the T&Cs)
Loyalty points will be allocated to the participants' redspottedhanky.com account within 28 days of the game completion.
Given the last F1 GP race was 24th November then that didn't leave much time to use them under the conditions of expiry as you have mentioned.

Accordingly, to that end, RSH did contact us all. (F1 GP participants)

This is the basic contents of an email sent on December 23rd
Subject: Important news for all Fantasy GP game participants

We want you to get the most from your redspottedhanky.com loyalty points so, to avoid any of you losing points at the end of the year we will allocated your points by the 10th January. This will mean that you have the whole year in which to spend them on train travel or through our loyalty portal.

My points were removed as I didn't "redeem" them by December 31st 2013.

And I didn't do the golf one or football no. As this one was so unclear what would happen and how to find the t&c's.

I don't have the £15 in vouchers to be able to say how long they last.

I would suggest to anyone taking part in these in future that they try and convert the points as soon as possible. Rather than presume they will stay as in previous years.
