Can anyone help me to fully understand a 'lifetime mortgage' we are approaching retirement, and all our assets are tied up in our property. We are not keen to move house, and also want to leave some money to our children,therefore, releasing some capital from our home seemed like a good solution, does anyone have any experience with this method of raising money?
