Hi all
I was wondering if anyone knew a good place to buy fresh, raw pecan nuts or walnuts (in fairly large quantities of around 750g-1kg) for a reasonable price?
Thanks.

Look out for the 'buy one get one for 1p' deals in Holland and Barrett. I've found that's the cheapest way to buy brazil nuts.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
There are no cheap nuts anymore just the odd special offer.0

When I was last at Lidl I found pecan nuts at £2 for 200g - that's quite a lot cheaper than in other supermarkets, I think. I stock up when there's a £5 off token available.0

Probably not what you are looking for , but approved food are currenlty doing an "apricot & walnut" mix at £2.49 for 500g ( as well as other fruit and nut mixes at similar prices )

I was hanging on for Ramadan before replenishing my nut stores (the joys of living in the East End of London), but to be fair it's almonds, cashews and occasionally pistachios that tend to be on offer. None of the premium stuff - ie walnuts, hazelnuts & pecans.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
