Hubby received the postcard today but we pay by monthly DD and I hadn't realised that electric is cheaper for keypad customes than bill paying customers!!0

Not sure. Airtricity give you 15.38% off the first year and 8% off the second year standard rate.

For keypad - airtricity new prices are going to be:
For the first year 15.27p a unit (current price 12.96)
Budget Energy are current 13.31p a unit so a 14% increase brings them to 15.17p a unit.
