Tesco rang me and yes it is because the credit card clubcard number is 2 digits shorter than the standard clubcard number(Why I ask myself?)

Anyway they told me to put 00 in front of the number. They actually said to put it before all the numbers but that did not work. However, when I put in it front of the second set of numbers it did.

So problem now solved.

Tip ...Had trouble using my clubcard number for this. Contacted customer services who advised that it is necessary to us an 18 rather than 16 digit clubcard number. Clubcard credit cards show a 16 digit clubcard number - so use a number from a traditional clubcard if you have one!:T

It seemed to accept my 16 digit number today with no problem (I did it before reading this thread).

Could they have updated the page?

Anyone else try recently with 16 digits?
