Bailiff Clamped my car and harassed parents for payment

I woke up this morning, went down to my building garage to get my car and drive to work only to notice it had been clamped. As i was running late, i had rushed out to work. A couple of hours later, i got a call from my parents who are alse living in apartment, they informed me two baliffs where had woken them up and where threatening to take away my car if the full debt is not paid. A couple minutes later, they informed me that the baliffs had collected a full payment from my mum (who is not the owner of the car it is in my name) who was in due duress with the whole matter and would have never paid if she was not put under so much unexpected harrasment. The claim the PCN was from July last year but i most certainly never received any notices or visits from the baliffs prior to this. I only paid a PCN i got recently last week so it is incredulous that i would let a charge from a year ago escalate to this situation if i had got any prior warnings. I am seeking advice on how to go about reclaiming this money that was paid by mother who was put under pressure without my presence.
