Yes!! I really didn't expect to ever have a number 3 and feel like such an idiot. Baby 1 was conceived after a year of trying and baby 2 after a year and a half, so for baby 3 to be conceived after one lapse in contraception has put me in shock ! Sorry, not the time or the place.
We were all set to move and now questioning the logic in moving now. Can anyone look into the future please !?!

    It's a really tricky one!
We made plans to extend the house (and increase the mortgage to part-fund it) then I became pregnant with twins. We're very happy about it, but obviously the costs of childcare for 3 children (or one of us not going back to work/cutting hours) is going to be quite a bit more than for 2. Also, because we'll have 3 children, we definitely need the extension now - and we might as well have the extra space for as long as possible.
However, we've not mentioned it to the mortgage company as we will manage our money to ensure that we can afford it. I have very detailed spreadsheets for our outgoings for different scenarios of childcare/part time working, etc etc and although it will be tight, we will manage.

    Good luck - and congratulations!
