We're first time buyers with a joint salary of £33,300.
Our AIP was accepted with London and Country.
We've had an offer accepted for a house for £120,000
We plan to pay 15% deposit.
We're to choose a lender tomorrow.
Her credit file is squeeky clean. Mine not so, and im freaking out!!
My score on equifax is 'very good' (429), with a fair on credit agreements (two late payments in 2011) (11). Also a fair on electoral roll, not been on it long.
All else green.
Experian gave me an 883 'good'. With 2 reds >
You have no successfully settled credit account
Your borrowing on regular instalment credit has not reduced significantly over the last 12 months.
Today I paid off all debt and also settled a credit card. Will this matter, if the report is saying something different anyway, and likely wont be updated in 1 day. The debt was £1100, paid off.
3 months ago I was over drawn 200 within my limit, last month I was overdrawn 30, this month ill probably save a lot as i have no cc debt left.
Should I be worried?

Ignore the scores they give you theyre useless. Just go off the green and red markers.
I would say the majority of lenders will accept you, the being overdrawn may be a concern to some lenders depending on how much overdraft you have and also whether the mortgage will be more than your rent but i dont think it will be a major concern.
Let L&C do their job, based on what you have said i dont think you need to be worried.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Should I be concerned that the credit file they pull out probably wont be a fair reflection of my actual accounts? It still says I'm 1100 in debt, which i paid off y'day.
At what stage of fhe application do lenders want your 3 months bank statements, straight away?
Any lenders to steer away from0
