Quick question for everyone

How long does the underwriters take to make a decision?
Plus why 4 credit searches on our credit files myself and my wife's?

2 weeks of providing proof of address for the temporary accommodation we are in.

Finally 4th of June ulster bank key in application and 2 searches done on my wife's and mine credit file.
5th June Royal bank of Scotland do 2 searches on each of our credit files. Today 11th June still no status update or decision

Youve been providing proof for 2 weeks but it was only keyed on the 4th? That doesnt make sense. You would usually only provide proof after the app has been made.

Yes we applied 10th of may through our broker to ulster bank. We had literally moved back with family 2weeks previous so all our documents were in our previous address. Took just over 2 weeks to change our drivers license to our familys address for proof that's were we are living till we move into this new place. So sent license to broker on the Monday the 3rd he sent it straight away to ulster bank. Then next the credit check by them started Tuesday the 4th and RBS The 5th
