Present for Relative with a Broken Leg!

Options
Hi all.

A close relative in her 60s has recently broken her leg. She's in plaster and off her feet for 4-6 weeks and it's her birthday in a couple of weeks so along with the usual nice things I'd like to get something that would be useful during this period. Any ideas as I'm a bit stumped apart from puzzle books etc? Anything practical that would be useful?

x

When my Mam broke her foot, she had a cast up to her knee and was told to elevate it, so I bought her one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Original-Cushtie-Pillow-Blue/dp/B000YOW3O8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1370970181&sr=8-3&keywords=pillows+cushtie I got one too (they had an offer on for two at the Metro Centre), and I love it, it's great for travelling.

I got her a neck one as well, which she absolutely loves, she said it was invaluable when she was in hospital for something else.

They're incredibly soft and seem to generate abit of warmth too, so they're very comforting! :)
