Nobody has ever informed me when a loan has finished. The Direct Debits stop and thats all.

Don't go doing anything daft like cancelling your Cirect Debit in advance.

My Lloyds TSB loan ended this month, and I got a letter last month saying the when the last payment would come off, and how much it would be.

When it comes to Natwest, my experience is loan account details just disappeared from your online banking.

I have a credit card that was never re-issued 5 or so years ago, that shows £0 balance, £0 available, so I thought the loan account might sit there showing £0 balance. But it didn't even show for a few days £0 balance, when the last DD came out it just disappeared.

Was very weird logging in and not seeing it there, as it had been there for about 7 years or so. Was actually looking forward to seeing the £0 balance after so many years of repayments.
