Help please! Plus-sized bridesmaid dress to match on a budget

Options
Hi everyone just wondered if anyone could help? My oldest friend is getting married in October this year and has asked me to be one of her bridesmaids. She's on a tight budget but one of the other bridesmaids found the perfect dresses for less than £20!

The problem is that her other four bridesmaid are sizes 8-18 while I'm a size 28/30 :o She's ordered those dresses for the others but they don't go up to my size and we've been searching in vain for any that are similar enough to match, go up to my size and stay in the budget!

This is the dress she's got for the others.

Royal blue, floor length, chiffon, strapless, ruched bodice dress : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Elegant-Strapless-Chiffon-Bowtie-Long-Bridesmaid-Dresses-09060-/370774968120

She's a plus size herself so she understands that it costs more for bigger sized but the ones we have found that match are way over budget any help would be much, much appreciated!

There are some very pretty ones on Angel Dress, but I rather think that you may need to contrast in another colour rather than trail around shops and websites trying to match colours.
Another alternative maybe to show the dress to a dressmaker and ask if it's possible to model a dress for you from 2 smaller ones purchased from the same website as the other bridesmaids. That way you will have the same colour and a similar style.

Do you want the same style as the other bridesmaids? I can't see it being very flattering on a larger lady.

Not sure how to put this more tactfully - might this be the motivation you need to lose some weight? You could be well on your way to being a size 18 by October.

Id agree with the contrast rather than same idea.

Dieting from a size 28/30 to an 18 in 5 months is not going to happen, at least not healthily
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

What is the max budget for your dress? :)

Also, have the other bridesmaids recieved their dresses from that ebay seller? I'd be very interested to hear how they turned out quality wise, there is a dress on there that my bridesmaid would love!

Have you contacted the ebay seller? Because at that price they are just importing from china anyway, so will know the style and colour to order

    Hardly helpful.

I'd go with getting one made in fabric that is as near as the same as you can get.
