A&L Bank Account Application

I'm thinking of applying for the A&L bank account (via Quidco, of course!), but when you apply, you have to have no history of CCJ or Bankruptcy. Now, back in 2001, August to be precise, I acquired my one and only CCJ, which was paid off in September 2002.

So, come August, anyone running a credit report on me won't see that CCJ, although I'll still know that it existed. This is where the stupid question comes in: after August, could I honestly apply for an A&L bank account and state categorically that I do not have a history of CCJ?

I've been living with this thing for so long that I feel like it's always going to be like a millstone around my neck!

After 6 years it will drop off your report so you can say that you do not have any CCJ's.
